Two years...My son-in-law was adopted as an infant. Two years ago this Christmas, he found his birth mother. He had fluctuated over the years as to whether he wanted to or not, sometimes he hated her for giving him up and other times he wondered why. It turned out that she was forced to give him up by her parents, even though she was 18 years old. Their reunion was quite remarkable in that suddenly, this woman who had been missing her son for 35 years, not only found him, but got a beautiful daughter-in-law and two grandchildren to boot.

Over the years, she had written him letters and had kept them all in hopes they would find each other one day. As I write this, it brings tears to my eyes thinking about how difficult a life she had after being treated as she was and having her child taken away. But the joy is now they can spend the rest of their lives getting to know each other.dhcoophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09792875196496989994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8472636778587869691.post-20429639346905526302008-10-28T12:36:00.000-05:002008-10-28T12:36:00.000-05:00One of my co-workers has adopted a beautiful littl...One of my co-workers has adopted a beautiful little boy whose birth mother chose first to give him life and then to give him a life with a family who wanted him desperately.

About that red hair: ours aren't adopted and we had to go back 4 generations to find a hint!Mrs.Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09466583622585717923noreply@blogger.com
