Too Many Amphibians?

Years ago, I collected pigs. Don't ask me why. I even had a real potbelly pig. But I soon became overrun with pigs and decided it was time for them to go. But still today, I may get a pig as a gift. So now, I like frogs, but I do NOT say I collect them because I don't want too many. I was looking at my yard froggies the other day and I do think I have enough. Of course, if I get a frog gift, I will graciously accept it, just like I do the piggie gifts.

These of course look better tucked away in summer flowers rather than dead winter ones and winter weeds they are in right now.

A solar frog. Gift from the hubby.

A watering pitcher. A Christmas gift.

Toad house. Gift from hubby and daughter. I try to keep it moist inside because real frogs actually hide out in there.

Gift from sister #3. I love this one.

I bought this one when my daughter and I went to Massachusetts at a neat little chain store called The Christmas Tree Shoppe. I wish we had those stores down south.

Another one from sister #3. He reminds me of Jabba the Hut.

What does the solar frog do? Kind of a weather station? and is he always mostly white like that, or is that what changes with the solar conditions?

I agree about Jabba.

MrsH, the solar frog just lights up at night, nothing more. And yes, he stays that color.

I was just wondering about his white feet!

My collections are flutes and teapots. Here are the flutes.

LOL now I like the last frog J/k, but I do agree a collection of one to many of one thing can over run things. But I love the frogs out in the yard, their all cute....
